Principals’ Welcome

October 2017

Dear Zeeland East/West families,

We have had a wonderful start to the 2016/17 school year! The high school teaching and support staff, as well as our amazing student body, have shown resilience in adjusting to the new campus administrative team and have navigated through our pesky construction projects. As we enter the sixth week of school, there is an optimistic feel across the campus that is calm and quietly confident.

It is exciting to announce that the parking lot at East High School is completed and can be used for daily student parking and for event parking.  The new wider, and covered path between East and West is being used by 600+ students each hour.  And the renovated entrance to West is having the finishing touches done this week. We are so grateful to have the support of our Zeeland community for providing one of the best facilities in our state.

As a campus with two high schools functioning as one academic program, our students greatly benefit from the multiple program options, courses, and resources. Our campus announcement page is a fantastic way to be informed on the latest events taking place in our buildings, as well as links to East and West athletics.

We thank you for partnering with us. The Zeeland High School campus is truly a special place due in large part to the people who choose to attend, work, and serve our community. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to better support our students.

Go Chix! Go Dux! Go Zeeland Public Schools!
